The Battenkill is a private hunting preserve, located near the rural Town of Salem ("the prettiest town in Northern New York"). We are about an hour's drive north of Albany (the state capital), and close to the Vermont border. The property comprises over 1800 acres, made up of rolling wooded terrain, brush, and fields. Within the confines of the property, we have many species of deer, sheep, antelope, elk, and wild boar right on the premises, along with partridge, pheasant, quail, and other game birds. We're easy to get to, but far from the hustle and bustle of civilization. Here you will find nature and wilderness in all its glory. And it is here that you will find your "hunt of a lifetime."
